Naomi Sturdy

Naomi has been teaching for over 14 years. She originally qualified as a Physical Education teacher in 2005, and in 2012 she started her own business teaching Yoga and Pilates full time.

Naomi has trained extensively in Ireland and abroad with leading teachers in Yoga, Pilates, movement, meditation, mindfulness and in the past year she has completed a certificate course in counselling and psychotherapy.

She teaches community and studio classes regularly in Dublin, leads retreats, and offers continuing education.  Naomi co-founded 'The Art of Teaching' in 2015, and over the past four years has successfully trained individuals to become Yoga teachers.

Naomi's approach and teaching method fuses the elements she feels are integral to our capacities to live our lives fully.  At the heart of all of her offerings are Movement, Mental Well being and Soulful Connection.

'I wish to create an atmosphere in classes and trainings that supports the WHOLE individual.  In all aspects of learning and growth, that each person can feel the nourishing benefits of these practices physically, mentally and speaks to their soul.'

As well as teaching in person, Naomi hosts the ‘Heart of the Matter’ podcast, and when not on her mat, loves getting outdoors, jumping in the Sea and rock climbing.
