Join Nastya Kharytonova & the OMMA team for this experiential Matcha tea making ceremony part of our Affinities Exhibition of Contemporary Illustration as part of Irish Design Week. Step into an intimate experience designed to awaken all five senses through the moving meditation of tea. This immersive ceremony invites you to slow down, connect, and discover the world of Japanese matcha beyond the cup. You’ll hear stories about the centuries-old traditions of Japanese tea, and about the people who have dedicated their lives to the generational craft of cultivating and refining matcha. As part of the ceremony, you will take part in matcha ceremony - traditional way of brewing matcha, tasting premium grade of matcha, as well as other Japanese teas and traditional Japanese sweets that accompany it.

The whole experience will take around 1.5 hours
