This two-hour expanded classical hatha yoga practice offers more time and space for a deeper dive into hatha yoga and why we practice it, facilitating a richer experience and a chance to tune into its many subtleties.

At its heart, classical hatha yoga is concerned with balancing the physical body, mind and energy. This cultivation of harmony and balance on the mat can help transform life off the mat, particularly in the face of the modern world and its many complexities.

Open with Kriya, a yogic cleansing technique to energise, expand and uplift. Transition to a classically informed hatha sequence with poses held for up to ten slow and steady breaths, offering an opportunity for a fuller encounter with the physical practice, before a balancing and grounding pranayama or breathwork. Conclude with a period of seated meditation, with guidance offered - no experience of meditation necessary.
