The "Ins & Outs" of Twists
Twists are among the most beneficial poses in yoga. Physically they help keep the spine healthy and the back supple while freeing up the hips and shoulders to restore a natural range of motion. Twists compress the abdominal area and the subsequent release drives a fresh blood supply to your organs.
In this 90-minute workshop Nik will deconstruct the art of twisting. Poses studied include seated, supine and standing twists, revolved triangle, revolved 1/2 moon, eagle and many more.
Props required include a chair, belt or strap, block (or book or cushion and a blanket.)
