The Essence of Yin 30hr Teacher Training - Upper Body Focus - Playing your Edge
led by Eimear Beardmore
The Essence of Yin Teacher Training is for those who, first and foremost, have an interest in the contemplative and reflective capacity of Yin Yoga. The training uses the lens of Yin Yoga as a basis for self inquiry and the foundation of an embodied meditation practice. This training builds on the themes of the previous training and particularly how they pertain to the upper body.
The role of teacher as facilitator is emphasised and the agency and somatic autonomy of the student is central to the values of the training. Much opportunity for self-practice is contained within the training with practices and anatomy sessions focused on the upper body.
The training ensures all trainees are afforded opportunities to deepen their Yin Yoga practice and teaching skills as they apply to functional anatomy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. This training expands on yin approaches to meditation and offers reflective practices for teachers and practitioners alike. We will explore what it means to play our edge as we deepen our dive into yin yoga.
This training is open to anyone wishing to deepen their practice - teachers and non teachers alike. Participation in Part 1 The Essence of Yin is not necessary for this course.

Testimonials
Eimear was very knowledgeable and had excellent insights to share on the content as well as practical elements of teaching yin. Suggestions for further learning were very helpful and appropriate to the training. The course was well paced and the days flew by. There was no time when it felt like a long day I would have stayed hours more!
The studio is incredibly welcoming, friendly and clean. It has a lovely atmosphere and was a very warm and inviting place to complete a training.

I found Eimear to be an extremely authentic teacher, sharing her knowledge and experience of teaching was invaluable to me. I loved the practical teaching methods she used. The pace of the training was super, the daily schedule was clearly prepared and designed. The pace of the training allowed for discussions and key learning all to take place. I feel students left the training feeling equipped to start teaching yin straight away.
