Part Time Studio Manager/Administrator:
5 days, 20 hours.
We are open 7 days a week, and shift times may vary.
The Space Between is a year old studio based on Fenian Street. We offer many styles of yoga and meditations classes, along with weekly workshops and events. We also have a teashop in The Space
As a part time staff member, you’ll be expected to cover a wide variety of tasks. This keeps things interesting for you, and allows you to develop areas you might not have worked in before:

Job Description - Duties include, but are not limited to:
General:

Studio Presentation: Being responsible for the whole studio. That means ensuring the cleaners and other staff are doing a good job and pitching in yourself when required. This includes ensuring the studios are set up before classes, the studios are always clean and presentable, the shower rooms are kept tidy, and managing the teashop for whoever wants a cuppa. Keeping all cleaning products, etc. in stock

Client management and follow up: We use mindbody to manage our bookings and client follow ups. You’ll be expected to comprehensively learn how the system works, and to follow up with client registrations, client request, booking issues etc.

Daily management of the info email account

Client relationships: You’ll need to have natural front of house skills. We make a point of knowing our members, which is what makes our studio a friendly and fun place to be. You’ll be expected to warmly greet existing and potential new clients; attend to phone and walk-in enquiries in a timely manner.

Management our team of Karma Yogis – we have a wonderful team of Karma yogis who help out with the space in return for membership. You’ll be required to sort the weekly schedule for them and ensure we have cover at all critical times.

Client communication is an important way for us to keep everyone up to date on what’s happening. This may involve helping with social media posts, assisting with newsletter composition and more, so you’ll need excellent writing skills and attention to detail.

We have an amazing group of teachers, but from time to time you will need to assist the teachers with audio and video equipment / class booking issues etc, as you will be in charge of the studio.

We run workshops regularly, which require liasing with the workshop teacher and ensuring the studio is ready with props or anything else needed. Thinking through how everything will run and planning ahead is crucial to this role.

Petty cash management

Attending weekly staff meeting and implementing whatever has been discussed.

Assisting with the setting of meeting agenda with the aid of studio administrator and director

Meeting with new teachers & workshop facilitators in The Space.

Business Development:
-
Class Schedule & workshops: Becoming aware of what classes and workshops are performing and which are not. Looking at where to potentially plug in new classes & workshops based on demand. Reviewing what's happening in the greater scene not just Dublin but UK, NYC so we're constantly tuned in and offering interesting and relevant workshops, classes and events. It’s important that you have an interest and knowledge of the industry.

You’ll assist with the running of all workshops, generating ideas and scheduling for future workshops.

Client relationship management and development: You’ll be up to speed on the general feedback from our clients, and with this you’ll suggest ways to improve or communicate with our clients. You’ll be able to make decisions on how to deal with challenging client requests.

Corporate Development: We engage with local companies. You’ll be expected to help generate new corporate leads, to articulate who we are to these companies and to develop these conversations into a partnership.

Just like you’ll be trained, we’ll expect you to share your knowledge with other new team members who join after you.
