Alltar is a unique electronic soundbath experience designed by composer Brian Dillon & guided by Yoga teacher Máirín O’Grady.

Expanding the concept of meditation, this is an embodied experience that invites you to feel the vibrations interacting with sound. From a guided grounding in the warm embrace of our dark studio a wide range of dynamic electronic and organic sounds are used to envelop you and take you through a portal on a somasensory voyage.

‘Alltar’ is the old Irish word for 'the other realm' or beyond the veil between worlds. 'Ceantar' it's opposite meaning to be ‘in your body or material world’. People would often be referred to as either being in ceanter (in their body) or allter (in the cosmos) on any given day. Now on the threshold of our collective & ancestral markers we will play with this ancient universal concept of moving from the physical to the ethereal using a live soundscape with guided meditation to help us to access the Alltar state.
